Surface Assessment & Preparation
The existing concrete is assessed for contamination, coatings, visible cracking and surface condition before the preparation method is selected.
Refresh suitable Auburn driveways, paths and patios with decorative Spray Crete resurfacing after the existing concrete has been assessed and properly prepared.
Concrete resurfacing can refresh suitable existing driveways, paths and patios without automatically removing and replacing the whole slab. The condition of the concrete, coatings, contamination and visible cracking should be assessed first.
Where Spray Crete is suitable, preparation and repair work is matched to the existing surface before the decorative finish and sealer are applied. For garage, commercial or industrial epoxy requirements, use DaniCrete's dedicated epoxy flooring pages below.
Resurfacing Process
The exact preparation and repair steps depend on the existing slab, its condition and the selected resurfacing system.
The existing concrete is assessed for contamination, coatings, visible cracking and surface condition before the preparation method is selected.
02Visible cracks are assessed and prepared where appropriate before resurfacing. Existing or future slab movement can still cause cracks to recur through a coating.
03Suitable repair materials may be used where required to address prepared cracks, minor defects or uneven areas before the decorative resurfacing system is applied.
A compatible base coat is applied where required to create a consistent surface for the selected decorative resurfacing finish.
The selected decorative Spray Crete finish is applied in the agreed colour and pattern to suit the project and existing concrete.
A compatible clear sealer is applied as part of the selected resurfacing system to help protect and finish the decorative surface.

DaniCrete assesses the existing concrete first, then recommends preparation and a resurfacing system appropriate to the surface condition and intended use.
Send DaniCrete photos and project details so the existing surface and suitable finish options can be assessed before quoting.
